                  IOWD FA SENIOR(GOLD) CUP Semi Final 29/04/14 played at St Georges Park, home of Newport IW FC COWES SPORTS     4 – 1     WEST WIGHT The 1st Senior(Gold) Cup Semi Final took place at St Georges Park, Newport on Tuesday April 29th between Wessex Div 1 side Cowes Sports and the current Island(Saturday) League Champions who look likely to retain their title. Although third place was guaranteed for the Island side Manager Richie Woodburn was keen to see the side perform to its full potential with Gold Cup places up for grabs.     Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Div 1   21/04/14             EAST COWES VICS    0 – 3     COWES SPORTS Easter Monday saw the big local derby as Cowes Sports crossed the River Medina to take on Vics who, despite their lowly position in the table, were always going to make life difficult for their neighbours.     AMESBURY HOLD YACHTSMEN TO GOALLESS DRAW AT BONNYMEAD

    Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Div 1 19/04/14          AMESBURY TOWN  0 – 0  COWES SPORTS A long trip to the other side of Salisbury and the home of Amesbury Town as Cowes Sports tried to keep their promotion hopes alive. Ed Hatt replaced the injured Will Hunt in goal whilst Craig Insley returned to center half in place of the unavailable Aidan Bryan, the two changes to the starting line up.
