    Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Saturday September 13th           AMESBURY TOWN 1 – 2 COWES SPORTS The Islanders made the hour long trip from Southampton to Bonnymead Recreation Ground, home of Amesbury Town, who had started the season very well and scoring goals for fun. The kick off was delayed by15 minutes due to the mini bus that Cowes were traveling in had a problem with the accelerator on the A303 just five minutes from the ground.
