    Saturday August 23rd 2014          COWES SPORTS   2  v  0  PEWSEY VALE Cowes Sports welcomed PEWSEY VALE to their Westwood Park home for this Division One fixture. Both sides were missing several key players, this allowing the Islanders the opportunity to give Spaniard Seremo Castellano his debut in English football, whilst compatriot Enrique Villar was among the named substitutes. Cowes put the visitors defence under early pressure when a Lee Davies corner from in front of the clubroom saw Jordan Browne flick the ball goal-wards which was partially cleared to Nathan Lewis whose shot was pushed away…

       FA CHALLENGE CUP Extra Preliminary Round Saturday August 16th 2014             COWES SPORTS     1  -  0     TEAM SOLENT The Yachtsmen were drawn at home to fellow Division One side TEAM SOLENT in this FA CUP Extra Preliminary Round tie with the possibility of facing two former Sports players, Craig Thomas and Michael Jones. Last weeks substitutes, Max Draper, Nathan Lewis and John McKie, were all named in the starting line up for this tie as Joe Phelps, Keelan Sainsbury and Lee Davies dropped to the bench to be joined by Craig Insley, Aidan Bryan, Oliver Wilson and Aaron Bunday….
