    Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Div 1   21/04/14             EAST COWES VICS    0 – 3     COWES SPORTS Easter Monday saw the big local derby as Cowes Sports crossed the River Medina to take on Vics who, despite their lowly position in the table, were always going to make life difficult for their neighbours. Manager Richie Woodburn changed his formation for this derby game implementing a 3 – 4 – 3 instead of 4 – 3 – 3 that has been favoured.     Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Div 1 19/04/14          AMESBURY TOWN  0 – 0  COWES SPORTS A long trip to the other side of Salisbury and the home of Amesbury Town as Cowes Sports tried to keep their promotion hopes alive. Ed Hatt replaced the injured Will Hunt in goal whilst Craig Insley returned to center half in place of the unavailable Aidan Bryan, the two changes to the starting line up.     Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) – Division 1   Saturday April 12th         PETERSFIELD TOWN   2  v  3  COWES SPORTS The 1st XI made the trip to Love Lane in Petersfield for this clash of two promotion rivals knowing that a win for the Islanders would keep them in the hunt for a top two finish. A late change in the line up saw Max Draper return at right back with Ryan Gregory moving to center half in place of skipper Craig Insley who missed the game following the birth of his daughter the evening before.
