Lee Davis (Defender/Midfield)

Lee Davis

Playing either on the left or in the centre, Lee strikes the ball with venom and has the desire and stamina to be very competitive until the final whistle.

Ashley Brett (Defender/Midfield)

Ash has returned from a year travelling to provide much needed stability and robustness to the defence, and when pushed slightly forward, the midfield as well.

Harry Dye (Defender/Midfield)

Also played U18 for Cowes before signing Wessex forms last season.  One of the younger players in the squad.   Harry is calm, good on the ball and is rarely beaten in the air.

Mike Herbert (Defender/Midfield)

Mitch has recently joined from West Wight and is a speedy wide man who can really cause headaches for his marker.

Tom Dye (Midfield)

One of five players from the current squad to help Cowes to an U18 “treble” in 04/05, Tom has played in a variety of positions for Cowes during his time at the club.  He seems to be excelling in his current role which is allowing him to push further forward and support the forwards.

Max Draper

Max DraperCame to Cowes from Shanklin and played U18 and Reserves before stepping up to the 1st team last year.  Missed the pre-season with injury, Max has now got himself fit and back in the fold with the first team squad.  Operates in the middle of the park and feeds the ball well to the strikers.

Gareth Bricknell – Club Captain (Midfield)

Skipper Brickers is a solid presence in the heart of midfield.  Poses a real threat to opposing defences and can deliver a great ball from wide as well as finishing with great power and accuracy himself.

Jamie Dyer (Midfield/Forward)

Jamie is the most senior player within the squad and brings much needed experience from his time in the upper echelons of Southern League football at Newport.  Offers exciting wing play and a controlled and consistent delivery.

Mikey Jones (Midfield/Forward)

Another player to have excelled at U18 level for Cowes before stepping up to the Reserves then onto the 1st team.  At 24, is one of the more experienced members of the squad.  Versatile and can create opportunities from midfield or either wing.  Tough tackler as well.

Craig Thomas (Forward)

Once scored for ‘Port U18 to knock Cowes (holders) out of youth league cup.  We may forgive him!!  Last years’ top scorer, Craig has found his feet at Wessex League level.  Confident in front of goal and brings great pre-season form into the start of the season.
