After a goalless first half, Vic Sanders put Cowes ahead with his second penalty of the season on sixty minutes, but the Vics soon hit back to equalise and went on to score again to take the points.

It was hard on the Cowes youngsters who had to fight a rearguard action throughout the second half but to be fair, they could have been beaten more convincingly had the home side made more of the hatful of clear chances that they somehow managed to squander.
